Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Overview

Cintas is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep of an industrial laundry facility. This role involves repairing, maintaining, installing, and troubleshooting industrial equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Repair, maintain, install, and troubleshoot industrial equipment such as washers, dryers, steam tunnels, conveyor systems, and boilers.

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to reduce downtime.

• Carry out welding activities (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing).

• Conduct boiler chemical testing and adjust chemistry as needed.

• Identify and resolve safety concerns to maintain a safe work environment.

• Maintain inventory of supplies and prepare accurate maintenance records.

• Monitor and evaluate work performed by internal staff and external service providers.

• Respond quickly to emergency alarms.

• Mentor and support Maintenance Technician I team members.

• Perform housekeeping duties both indoors and outdoors.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience repairing industrial processing equipment (industrial environment or military).

• Ability to read and understand maintenance literature in English.

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

• Ability to stand for up to 7 hours during an 8-hour shift.

• High School Diploma or GED.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of boiler systems.

• Experience in HVAC maintenance.

• Proficiency in welding techniques (MIG, TIG, ARC, cutting, brazing).
