TEAM MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for the next ROCK STAR to join our family at Jimmy John's! Both part-time and full-time positions are available now. As an In-Shop Team Member, you’ll be the face of Jimmy John’s—greeting customers when they enter and exit, delivering an exceptional experience, and making fast, accurate sandwiches in 30 seconds or less. Real people serving awesome food to real people—plus the opportunity to support delivery operations and interact with our drivers as part of the team effort.
Team Members start at $10.00 per hour.
Team Member Essential Functions include:
Greet customers, take orders, operate the cash register, collect payments, and make change
Make sandwiches quickly, accurately, and consistently to Jimmy John's standards
Take phone orders and complete delivery tickets with accuracy
Deliver an outstanding customer and store experience
Clean the store, small wares, and equipment as necessary
Operate food preparation machinery safely and efficiently
Comply with portion sizes, recipes, systems, and procedures
Adhere to all food, safety, and security guidelines
Execute quality store operations and follow all operational procedures
Maintain a professional appearance at all times in line with the dress code
Foster a team-oriented work environment
Display a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments
Support delivery operations by communicating with delivery drivers and assisting with preparation for deliveries
Team Member Additional Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old with a clean driving record
Basic computer skills, including POS and register operations
Ability to lift 30–40 lbs. regularly throughout the shift
Able to stand, bend, reach, and lift during assigned shifts
Comfortable working in a walk-in refrigerator or freezer (40°F to -10°F)
Must be able to pass a sandwich test at the end of the first 2 weeks and during periodic evaluations

This Jimmy John's location is independently owned and operated under a franchise agreement with LPH Ventures, franchisor of the Jimmy John's system.
